Nintendos new console set to release in japan in November.

**Some features i missed**
Will have multimedia support.
Will have multimedia software.

This new sd card feature could make some problems for cyclo ds’s and r4′s. I am guessing there will also be firmware updates with the multimedia so that could do something too. On the plus side a new sd card slot could mean some more opportunities for homebrew. It seems there are no game feature improvements and as many people are saying an option for music, pictures, video etc.

H 264 Video on ARM NEON by Ingenient

We will show you H.264 standard definition video playback on ARM NEON processor on our OMAP3 reference design board. For this demo, the video content is decoded from an SD card and displayed on 4″ WVGA LCD.

On a 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8/NEON used for this demo, a half of its processing power is free for other applications to run simultaneously; it can be used for low-cost applications such as PMP, MID, PND and DTV receivers.
