Checking Out DUBturbo

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012

There are a lot of music making programs out there, and most of them leave something to be desired. Or worse, they are just too complicated for you to get a grasp of unless you’re an expert in the field. But DUBturbo scam provides neither problem. That’s what makes it a choice many people are making.

Well it’s got a user friendly design in mind for all features, but that can often turn people off. That’s because it’s not as sophisticated as your other major editing software types.

But DUBturbo is not a scam, and is actually just good software that can record almost anything. Whether you’re after some good mixing software, or something to make a track come alive by adding sound, this is your gig.

That means through DUBturbo it’s completely possible for you to make a song, even if all you do is sing, and you’re unable to play any instruments. That’s probably the coolest part.

Where this software really shines is in the features. Yes you have all the major ones that you need, so that you can create a song. That includes editing, as well as picking apart tracks.

That means not only do they have music generation, but you can also pick and pull your tracks apart with a full on sound editor, so that you can cut up anything and put them together effortlessly.

But there are also settings to control tempo, and even the range of your sounds. All the tools you would expect to find in a recording studio, right at your disposal that you can use right at home.

Plus all of DUBturbo is backed by a 60 day money back guarantee. So if you don’t like what you get in the package, and you find it’s just not going to work for you, you don’t have to pay for the software.

Rock Band’s Top Songs To Play

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

Since Rock Band first hit the stores two years ago I have been one f its biggest fans. I will sit for hours at a time playing the songs again and again as I try to get them perfect.

I intend on mastering this game on every level as well as every instrument. This will literally give me thousands of hours of game time and stacks of possibilities.

I’m going to share with you now some of my favorite songs on Rock Band. If you’ve never played it before, where have you been? Get yourself a copy now.

The first song I played was say it ain’t so by Weezer. This is the first song they recommend you try out and it’s a great first song to start off with as you’ll find your way with it really quickly.

It’s an incredibly easy song to play; it sounds fab and is a lot of fun. Even if you aren’t the singer you will be singing along.

One of the classic songs on Rock Band from the 1990′s is Creep by Radiohead. Whether you play the easy version at the beginning, or the harder one later on, you’ll enjoy playing along with this great song, whichever instrument you choose.

If you like to push yourself and set yourself high goals, the ultimate test on Rock Band is Green Grass and Tides. I personally wouldn’t recommend that you go anywhere near it until you have more or less mastered the game, as it is the hardest song you will ever have to play.

With awe inspiring solos and just about the hardest tune to master, this is the one everyone wants to crack on expert level. Many have conquered other songs as experts but this is a whole different ball game. Getting through this song is like a full physical workout and you will be exhausted at the end of it.

Download Zune: Updating Your Device

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

If there is anything you should know about Microsoft products like the Zune, it’s that you should download Zune updates so that your device will work in the best condition possible. Zune update is a basically a download that will improve the firmware of the player. Firmware is a computer program that is embedded in a hardware device, the hardware in this case being the Zune. It is something between hardware and firmware and it can be upgraded so that it performs much better. Firmware updates are similar to those found in many recent cellular phones as well.

How Do I know What Firmware My Zune Has?

Basic Firmware – Every Zune unit has a basic firmware out of the box and the very first firmware was version 1.0 (193). This is the original firmware that the Zune device had when installed in the factory for the 30 GB series. This firmware of course was with the first generation of Zune players and the newest is now an 80 GB manifestation so it has a more advanced firmware. To know what kind of firmware your Zune has you can do the following:

- On the Zune Home screen, select settings, and press the center of the Zune pad. – Select About, and press the center button. – Select Zune, and press the center button.

After following those steps, the firmware version should be displayed on the screen and then you can determine whether or not you need a firmware upgrade by visiting the Microsoft website to check if there are any upgrades available.

What Version Firmware Is Available So Far?

The nice thing about Microsoft is that you can actually trace the firmware updates for the Zune and there have been quite a few since they want consumers to get the best from the device. Here are some of the versions that are available for the device and what the updates do to improve the devices performance:

The Version 1.1 – Enabled Zune to Zune wireless sharing and improved overall performance. The wireless feature is turned on by default in this update and can be deactivated by going to Settings / Wireless and then turning it off manually.

Version 1.2 – Helped to improve performance as well as stability of that performance.

Firmware Version 1.4 – Improved the shuffling behavior of the device.

The Version 2.0 – The original factory version for the Zune 4GB, 8GB, and 80GB devices.

Firmware Version 2.1 – Improved functionality and performance, but this update was not widely distributed to Zune users.

Version 2.2 – Updated device functionality and improved performance, like helping to download Zune content better and faster over WIFI.

Firmware Version 2.3 – The latest update which still has the wireless feature on by default.

Updates may take time. It takes hardware and software developers a lot of time to develop these updates and they have to make sure that these updates will install properly on all devices sold to the end user. This is the reason why there are not able to download Zune updates whenever they want but only when they are available.

Great Attributes About The Apple IPhone

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

The apple iphone is a technological stroke of genius. Both the style and functions available are second to none.

How many times have we purchased cell phones which are meant to have full internet access but haven’t? Well the iphone delivers all that it promised. The service provided by ATT is excellent, as is the Safari browser.

The clarity of the screen on the iphone is brilliant, when you consider the size of a cell phone. If there is anything on the site you want enlarging, the touch technology makes it a piece of cake.

The apps store has left Apple with a bigger hit on their hands than they could surely ever imagine. The choice of apps available is simply staggering.

The options for pictures and videos are adequate, but not exceptional. Saying that, as it isn’t a digital camcorder or camera and the picture quality is still far superior to many cell phones.

Another great thing I’ve found is that when I’m composing a text message I am typing about 5 times faster than before when I had to use the key pad. The only problem I envisage here is if you have exceptionally large fingers, but that applies to all phones when it comes to texting.

All cell phones seem to come with an array of pretty rubbish ringtones, and the iphone doesn’t fare too well in this department either. The answer is simple, get yourself some new ones. If you want to use the alarm as your wake up call, set this on full volume and you’ll get the rest of the block up with you!

We have all had the inconvenience of getting the battery low signal on our phones but not having our bulky chargers with us. The iphone has a second way to get charged, a small cable that goes into a USB port. The charging time is 45-60 minutes for a dead phone, as opposed to 15-30 for a mains charger.

Easy Ways To Bolster Any Laptop

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

A laptop isn’t just a piece of technological equipment these days; they are also a fashion statement. There are many accessories available which can make using your laptop a lot more fun. These ingenious piece of equipment are here to stay so why not make your time using them even more pleasurable?

Many long term laptop users have got sore legs from using them for long periods, due to the heat that they generate. Treat your self to a laptop cushion and make sore legs a thing of the past.

This serves a second, even more important function than keeping the heat of your legs. It ensures that there is plenty of ventilation and that the hard drive is kept cool, thus keeping your laptop in good working order and preventing overheating.

I consider the next item less of an accessory and more of an essential. A carry case, or sleeve, will protect your laptop from bumps and scrapes while you carry it around with you. Even a simple knock can cause parts to come lose inside, rendering your machine broken. It will also protect it from drops in temperature, humidity and dust.

Watch out when you put your laptop down on hard surfaces, always place them down very gently to avoid any jolts. This causes wear and tear and can shorten the lifestyle of your machine.

A wireless mouse is a great little gadget if you prefer to use a mouse as opposed to a laptop touchpad. Copying and pasting etc can be a lot easier with a mouse if that’s you’re used to one, and techies love these.

Listening to music on your laptop while surfing the net and/ or chatting is very popular, but be prepare for the poor sound quality of the internal speakers. An extra set that plug in or headphones are the way to go.

There are other advantages of having a good set of headphones apart from improving the sound of you music. Sites such as YouTube with thousands of video and movie clips can be enjoyed without annoying anyone else.

An Option Besides Renting Your Videos At Rental Outlets

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

One of our favorite ways to spend a night in is to hire a DVD. I bet you do it the old fashioned way of driving to a store to pick it up then having return it by a set time so that you don’t get a fine. If this is you then renting online may be the best option.

It works out a lot cheaper, as there isn’t just the hire price to take into consideration, but also the gas consumption.

There are weeks when you will hire more movies than other, but add all the rental charges together and also add the price of the gas and it comes to a hefty amount of cash. And that’s more than likely to be an underestimate too.

I only use online rentals now and am saving a fortune. I know what I’m spending every month and they’re delivered to my door. When I’m finished I just mail it back and then another one comes, simple.

Not knowing exactly how the whole process worked, I found a company offering a free trial. It’s the best thing I ever did! There was no jostling and queuing at the store anymore and as my month’s subscription is only costing me what it would have for 2 rentals previously, I’m seeing so many more great movies.

We all want to see the latest releases and getting to the store to find that he last copy has just gone out is infuriating. These days are long gone for me now.

The convenience of movies off my list just dropping through the door is second to none. I’m not even bothered if I have to send some back that I haven’t had time to watch, as they are so cheap. Gone are the days when your plans go haywire and you are left with a window of a couple of hours that you have to watch the movie in before you return it.

One thing I certainly don’t miss is the crowded store and the fight for top titles.

Are Macs Better Performers Than PC Computers?

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

I’ve had computers for over twenty years of my life now. I couldn’t imagine life without them at this point, and boy have they come a long way.

Those first computers that were so slow and had to have disks in them so they could function are obsolete, and now super machines have taken the world by storm and can be bought for a price that is quite affordable.

PCs are what I used growing up and I really liked using the systems that were Windows-based for quite a while. I had a very good understanding of them and could easily make use of all the available software.

It wasn’t until a bit later that I ended up deciding to give a Mac a chance instead. I had heard about the benefits of using these computers for quite some time.

People said they wouldn’t slow down like a PC does, and they said that they wouldn’t be exposed to viruses either. I’d have a computer that lasted longer, which would offset the fact that I was paying nearly twice the price for one.

Well I chose to buy one due to all the recommendations my friends gave me. After the fact, this is what I can say to you concerning this decision. I am extremely glad that I made the decision to take this route.

I do miss having a PC and all the pertinent software I ran on it, but, I have just figured out how to solve this problem. You just need to install software, such as Parallels or VMware, and then you can do the same thing on your own.

Try out a Mac if you’re looking for a new computer. I can officially say that I’m a converted Apple lover after many years of using PCs. I have a healthier computer that runs faster and for the first time ever, I have a computer that hasn’t shown its signs of age after a few years.

Reviews Of Digital TV 4 PC

Monday, February 15th, 2010

If you’re looking for a DTV4PC review, I’d like to fill you in some details about this software. As it grows in popularity, it seems like people are increasingly curious about how it all works.

There’s probably a lot you’re wondering about DTV4PC and how it works. Let’s go into some of the details about it as I think you’ll have a clear understanding by the end of my review.

If you don’t know how it works, DTV4PC stands for digital TV for PC. This might lend some insight into what it all does, as it’s basically streaming live television directly onto your computer.

To get started, you don’t need to install wires or anything complicated. This just involves a simple download of the digital PC for TV software onto your computer. From there, the program self installs and you’ll be good to go, never having to pay anything extra to keep it all running.

As far as the channels go, there’s just about every area of interest covered with mainstream TV companies appearing through the service. Whether you’re into sports, movies, news, cartoons, or just about anything else, you’ll have direct access to it all.

You’ll appreciate some of the major names included in the package too. There’s MTV, CNN, ESPN, CNBC, PBS, Bloomberg, the Cartoon Network, and a lot more, making it a really great deal for the price.

I should also mention that the service has been much improved ever since the new DTV4PC 2 launched in October 2009. The streams and picture quality are better than before, and there are more channels to watch.

I should also mention that it’s all legal, so you don’t have to worry about infringing on copyright laws or anything of the sort. Having said that, I’m pretty sure that sums up my DTV4PC review. Solid product for a really reasonable price that I think you’ll enjoy.

Enjoy another digital TV for PC review on the author’s website.

Remedies To Make Your Computer More Efficient

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

I absolutely hate the idea of lost time, and a broken down, slow computer is one of those things that absolutely eats away at me. The thought of waiting minutes for something aimlessly when it should take seconds is a really unsettling one to me.

The value of wasted time doesn’t have a price, especially when we’re using our machines for business. Because of this, you should really think about ways to fix the solution without spending much money.

Here are a few suggestions that you may want to take note of if your computers are running slowly. There’s no guarantee that these will work, but you don’t have much to lose either.

There are many people out there who simply don’t shut their computers down when they’re not using them. They can go weeks or even months at a time before they power them down.

While it may seem convenient to do this, there are drawbacks that come with leaving it on all the time. You’re overworking your computer when you do this. Could you imagine a car that was left on around the clock? Shut it down when it’s not in use, as this will go a long way.

Another thing that you should look into doing is deleting many of the files that you don’t need. Whether these are old pieces of software that you never open, old music files or videos that you never listen to or watch, or other meaningless documents or images that never get accessed, these are all hogging up hard disk space and memory, and may help to speed up your computer if they’re deleted.

Some people might prefer not to delete old files, since you never know when you might need them again. In this case, you can still delete certain temporary files that you’ll never need to use again. You can also clear the cache in the internet browser that you use.

I would try all of the above before my last suggestion, but it’s one that generally does the job too. Look into some of the many registry cleaners out there, as all of them will help to a degree. I would definitely try this as a last resort before deciding to find a new computer.

Facts On The Movies Capital Service

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

I’ve been a big fan of Movies Capital ever since I became a member, so I thought this would be a good time to give a detailed Movies Capital review. This is a legal service that gives you unlimited download access to a massive amount of movies once you join.

I’m a big fan of the membership structure. It’s not like Netflix or other services that make you pay every month or each time you download a movie. All you need to do is pay once and everything is free after that.

Right now, the cost has been reduced from $100 to $40, and you’ll never have to pay anything again after that. Once you’re a member, you’re good to go for life.

Once you join Movies Capital, you’ll get access to the entire library of movies available on the network. Everything can be downloaded really easily, and it doesn’t take any kind of a learning curve to figure it all out.

If you’d rather watch the movies on your TV instead of your computer monitor, they show you how to wire everything up so that the movies are broadcast on your TV. The picture quality is awesome, so I’d recommend doing this if you can.

Not only will you be able to watch movies through your membership, but you’ll also be able to watch some full TV series too. If there’s a show you’ve been meaning to catch up on or watch for the first time, you’ll have the ability to start watching these too.

You might be wondering how it all works, and it all has to do with peer to peer technology that legally enables you to stream everything straight from your computer. The download and streaming speeds are pretty top notch too.

All in all, my Movies Capital review gives the service some really high marks. Between the great cost, the growing library of movies, and the high quality, people are loving what they get once they join.
