The Illustration Of Vera Tataro

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

Have you ever heard of the well verse talented artist Vera Tataro? If not, fear not as you are about to be told of the wonderful journey of how Vera was able to become the amazing illustrator that the world so rightly appreciates. She was born in 1966 and form very early on, she realised what she wanted to be, how she was going to become it, and from that, there was simply no stopping her.

Vera first showed off her talents by using wax crayon to draw all over the walls of her parents living room, which to no surprise left them in a shocked and furious state. However later on this turn out to be a blessing for little Vera as they then enrolled her on special art classes whilst she was still just attending primary school, what more could she want?

Attending the Hellich’s Art and Graphics High School in Prague was Vera’s first step of many into bringing her dreams into a reality in starting a blossoming career in the arts and media industry and an amazing career she had ahead of her/

Vera even became a colourise in-betweener, when she got a job provided by a cartoon company located in Prague. Here she worked for 7 years, and her talents as an artist were still growing and could only get better as time moved on. When that job ended Vera thought that it would be most beneficial for her to become a freelance artist, as it would make it a lot more easy for her to explore and develop her creative mind, as there was nothing that could hold her back, and in doing do, many would know that she was extremely successful.

Being the abstract type artist that Vera is, her work is always something to look at, there is always so much going on, and may take a viewer more than 5 seconds to take it all that they are being shown, but no the less, her title as a great illustrator is well deserved.

Vera’s journey hasn’t always been a walk in the park but none the less she continues to push on, each and every time proving to the world that there is still a lot more paint on her brush that she wishes to share with us all, we can only hope to see more great work in the not so distant future.

The Career Path Of Albin Christen

Friday, November 6th, 2009

The freelance designer Albin Christen works and lives in Lausanne, Switzerland. Being a 30 something master of Lifestyle and Conceptual Illustration and graphic design, Albin has produced many years of quality work.

It was in 1996 that Albin turned his hand to becoming a visual artist. The more creative the design remit, the more advanced his work becomes.

The illustrations Albin creates are all similar with their own distinctive slant to identify each one as a separate design. Albin has been working on a poster for a children’s Opera called “Le Chat Botte”, which will be shown in his home town, Lausanne.

That “work on demand” time-table is very appealing to Albin, as he enjoys the meetings, designs and discussing customer and client requirements. Albin has also said that he didn’t realise how his work had evolved so much, and that this came as a surprise to him.

Albin’s online portfolio work is a reflection of the expansion of his imagination. The stories the designs tell, with the use of the colours, prints and media’s, sum up the way his designs are produced. Not many people have gone into printing their designs on footwear, as Albin has. This is a hidden form of art expression and it should be brought closer to the light in the industry.

Clients from around the world have worked with Albin Christen, including Ritzenhoff, Adidas, Swatch,Montreux Jazz Festival, Loto-Quebec and many, many more.

Albin doesn’t think much about where he will be in the future, Albin is just concerned with being in “the now”, producing what Albin is producing today to further evolve to an even higher imagination.
