H 264 Video on ARM NEON by Ingenient

We will show you H.264 standard definition video playback on ARM NEON processor on our OMAP3 reference design board. For this demo, the video content is decoded from an SD card and displayed on 4″ WVGA LCD.
Ingenient has significant expertise in embedded multimedia and optimization utilizing hardware accelerators. On a 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8/NEON used for this demo, a half of its processing power is free for other applications to run simultaneously; it can be used for low-cost applications such as PMP, MID, PND and DTV receivers.
